Scheduling Information

Dear Doctor:

We truly appreciate the opportunity to participate in the treatment of your patient. The therapy that we provide will always be in the best interest of the patient. In order to provide the best care, help us by:

  • Accurately scheduling the appointment for an evaluation only appointment or an evaluation and treatment appointment. If they are truly in pain, we will see them ASAP for emergency treatment. If they are not in pain, we will schedule them with the first available doctor.

  • Informing your patient the reason why root canal therapy is necessary (for example: possible cracked tooth, infected tooth, core retention).

  • Including information regarding the final restoration to be placed.
  • Informing them that crown extension may be necessary if caries is extensive.

We will assume that you have treatment planned for this situation and your patient is aware of the treatment necessary to save this tooth.

Please do not promise that root canal therapy will be completed in one appointment. We will not compromise proper therapy for the sake of time.

If there are any circumstances that would hinder treatment, kindly give us a call to inform( i.e. patient management, compromised medical history, separated instrument, nitrous oxide, etc.).

If there is anything we can do to improve their experience, please do not hesitate to inform us.
